4th Grade Track & Field Day
The Prairie Elementary Physical Education Department is sponsoring an all- elementary track and field day for fourth grade students.
The events will be held at the Prairie High School track and field complex. The fourth grade meet will be held on Wednesday, May 18th beginning at 9:30 a.m. Friends and families are invited to attend. Sportsmanship, effort and self-esteem are emphasized, and the event promotes physical, social, and cognitive development of children.
In the event of threatening weather, officials will determine if it is necessary to postpone the event. Rescheduled date has been set for Wednesday, May 25th.
Students are encouraged to bring water bottles and must bring a sack lunch. We will be eating lunch at the track. TENNIS SHOES AND ATHLETIC WEAR ARE A MUST. Please provide sunscreen for your child.
The following schools will be participating: Prairie View, Prairie Crest, Prairie Heights, Prairie Ridge, and Prairie Hill. We would appreciate any parent volunteers. Please contact your homeroom teacher if you are interested.
