Ridge’s Hawk Walk Friday, October 7th

This Friday will be our annual Ridge Hawk Walk. Families are welcome to join their students as we walk together to support Prairie Ridge. Below are some details as to what our afternoon will look like.

PLAN A – Nice Weather (all students and staff walk at the track together)

• Hawk Walk will start at 3:00 and students will walk until 3:30
• We will walk on the high school track around the football field.
• Students must stay off the turf. It will be swept for the football game for players’ safety.
• Parents will park at Ridge and meet their student(s) outside at the track. Please do not park up at the high school as the buses will need the loading zone.
• If students are going home with parents, they will need to come back to the building with their class and make sure teacher is aware that student is leaving. Once they have their backpacks they can exit through the main front doors to meet their parent.

PLAN B – Inclement Weather (see schedule below)

• We will walk in the gym.
• If parents would like to join their students for the indoor walk they would sign in and meet their students in the gym.
